Jeep has officially unveiled the all-new 2025 Compass, a bold step forward for the brand’s compact SUV, merging rugged capability with modern electrification and technology.
Manufactured in Melfi, Italy—one of Stellantis’ key hubs for electric vehicle development—the latest generation of the Jeep Compass builds upon its established legacy while embracing a forward-thinking powertrain lineup. For the first time, customers can choose from a 48V mild hybrid, a plug-in hybrid, or a fully electric version offering up to 650 km of range. Jeep has confirmed that even the electric version will be available with four-wheel drive, maintaining the model’s adventurous spirit.
Modern Looks Meet Jeep DNA
The redesigned Compass retains the brand’s unmistakable design language—complete with the iconic seven-slot grille, trapezoidal wheel arches, and bold cladding—while introducing refined aesthetics and practical features. Sitting on the STLA Medium platform, the vehicle achieves an ideal balance of interior space and compact exterior dimensions, measuring 4.55 meters in length.
Interior enhancements include an extra 55 mm of legroom, 34 liters of added front storage, and a cargo capacity that now reaches 550 liters. All trims come standard with a 10-inch digital cluster and a massive 16-inch infotainment display, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities.
Trail-Ready Engineering for All Terrains
Even the front-wheel-drive variants of the new Compass are engineered for serious terrain. Ground clearance of up to 200 mm, water fording depth of 470 mm, and approach/departure angles rival those of much larger off-road vehicles. All-wheel-drive trims gain even more aggressive specs, including a 31° departure angle and Hill Descent Control as standard.
Selec-Terrain® traction control comes equipped on all versions, while new suspension tuning with custom springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars strikes a solid balance between comfort and off-road confidence.
Expanded Color Range and Premium Features
The vehicle will be available in six new colors inspired by nature—ranging from tropical green “Hawaii” to glacier white “Antarctica.” Additional options include Matrix LED lighting, a Head-Up Display, semi-automated lane changes, and even a power-operated hands-free tailgate.
Safety gets a significant boost, too. Standard features include 360-degree environmental awareness, anti-scratch body protection, and strategic radar repositioning to prevent sensor damage during urban or off-road driving.

Electrified Powertrains for Every Need
Jeep’s new powertrain lineup offers something for every driver. Starting with a 145-hp mild hybrid and a 195-hp plug-in hybrid, the range peaks with a 375-hp dual-motor electric version offering advanced torque delivery. Thanks to a high-output rear motor delivering 3,100 Nm at the wheels, this model can even ascend 20% gradients with no front-wheel traction.
DC fast charging up to 160 kW enables 20–80% recharge in just 30 minutes, while an onboard 22 kW charger ensures quick refills at home or work. Aerodynamic tweaks—such as a fully flat underbody and active grille shutters—help improve efficiency by 10%, contributing to the EV’s maximum range.
First Edition: A Premium Introduction
To kick off the launch, Jeep is offering a special First Edition, available with either the 145-hp hybrid or the 213-hp electric powertrain (FWD, 500 km range). This launch model includes 20-inch wheels, LED matrix headlights, heated seats, and advanced driver-assist features like semi-automated lane changes and Level 2 autonomy. Deliveries begin in Q4 2025.
