June 12, 2025 – Woodcliff Lake, NJ – BMW is redefining performance luxury by streamlining its XM lineup to focus exclusively on one extraordinary model: the BMW XM Label. As the most powerful road vehicle ever produced by BMW M, the XM Label delivers breathtaking performance, striking design, and new personalization options that push the boundaries of exclusivity.
Power Meets Electrification
The BMW XM Label features the cutting-edge M HYBRID drive system, pairing a twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 577 horsepower with an integrated electric motor that contributes an additional 194 horsepower. Together, they generate a formidable 738 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, launching the XM Label from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph, or up to 175 mph with the optional M Driver’s Package, underscoring this model’s track-ready credentials.
A Soundtrack of Power: Carl Cox x BMW M
BMW M teamed up with legendary British DJ Carl Cox to create a unique sound experience inspired by the XM. Engine notes, start-up chimes, and even the mechanical “clunk” of the hood closing were recorded and mixed into a custom track – an audio homage to the spirit of BMW M.
Updated Styling & Customization
The new BMW XM Label now offers a fresh range of options that blend bold design with individual expression:
Exterior: The striking Frozen Tanzanite Blue Metallic finish joins the color palette, perfectly enhancing the XM’s commanding silhouette. A Welcome Light Animation adds a dramatic visual touch upon approach.
Wheels: New 23-inch M light alloy wheels (Style 1096 M) are now available in a sleek Jet Black finish.
Interior Worlds: Buyers can choose from three new, high-end interior configurations:
Night Blue Merino Leather with Vintage Coffee accents
Black Merino Leather with Vintage Coffee accents
Silverstone Merino Leather with contrasting Black details
Each comes with rear seat comfort cushions as standard, color-matched for a harmonious and luxurious cabin atmosphere.
Improved Charging Performance
With an upgraded Combined Charging Unit, the XM Label now supports AC charging at up to 11 kW – a notable increase from the previous 7.4 kW – making it easier and faster to keep the high-performance plug-in hybrid ready to go.
Global Debut at Le Mans
The world premiere of the 2026 BMW XM Label will take place on Saturday, June 14, during the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the same event, BMW M Motorsport will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the BMW M Hybrid V8.
Built in the USA
Production of the XM Label begins in August 2025 at BMW Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina. Pricing details will be released closer to the production start.
