Ford Unveils Bold Black Package for the Kuga ST-Line X
Ford is adding a new level of personalization to its popular Kuga SUV with the launch of the exclusive Black Package, now available for the high-spec ST-Line X trim. Revealed today in Cologne, Germany, this fresh styling option brings an aggressive edge to the Kuga’s already athletic design.
At the heart of the Black Package are the striking 20-inch Ford Performance black alloy wheels, which pair dynamically with vibrant red brake calipers for a dramatic visual punch. The pack also introduces gloss-black accents on the front bumper’s lower blades, mirror housings, and roof – details that enhance the vehicle’s sporty stance while offering a custom touch.
Buyers can match or contrast the Black Package elements with any of the six available body colours: Frozen White, Agate Black, Solar Silver, Bursting Green, Desert Island Blue, and Magnetic. The result is a tailored exterior that suits a wide range of tastes – from stealthy monochrome to bold, contrasting combos.
“This package allows our customers to add a fresh spin on the Kuga’s design – whether they prefer a subtle, all-black look or something more expressive,” said Jon Williams, general manager of Ford Blue, Europe. “Combined with its sharp proportions and red brake calipers, the Black Package ensures the Kuga ST-Line X won’t go unnoticed.”
In addition to its updated styling, the Kuga continues to offer a diverse range of powertrains. Options include a 1.5-litre EcoBoost petrol engine, a self-charging hybrid (FHEV), and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) capable of up to 69 km of electric-only range, based on WLTP standards. Ford’s SUV also integrates advanced connectivity features and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies.
The Kuga ST-Line X Black Package will be available to order starting in June.
