The driver from Monaco is reportedly not satisfied with the situation in Ferrari.
Charles Leclerc has not had the best start to the 2025 season alongside the team from Maranello. After nine rounds, he has secured only three podium finishes and has yet to claim a race victory.
On the other hand, even Lewis Hamilton has struggled to achieve significant results, apart from a sprint race win in China and a third-place finish in the Miami sprint. Both drivers are reportedly frustrated with the performance of the SF-25.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport and Formula Aerodinamix, this situation has led Leclerc to reconsider his future with Ferrari — despite having a contract with the team through 2029. The reports suggest that the Monegasque driver has lost confidence in Ferrari’s 2026 project and doubts the team’s competitiveness moving forward.
As a result, Mercedes is being mentioned as a potential alternative, especially with team principal Toto Wolff reportedly showing interest in Leclerc.
