Singer Unveils Limited-Run Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagining

LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2025 — Singer Vehicle Design has pulled back the curtain on its latest bespoke creation: the Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe Reimagined by Singer. Drawing from the spirit of the 1980s wide-body Carrera Super Sport, the new model is a masterclass in craftsmanship, high-performance engineering, and tailored design.

Limited to just 100 customer commissions, this new offering is built around the classic Porsche Type 964 platform and elevated through state-of-the-art enhancements developed in collaboration with Cosworth, Bosch, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies.

At its core lies a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 420 horsepower. It marks several milestones for Singer, including the integration of variable valve timing and the combination of water-cooled cylinder heads with air-cooled cylinders. The result is a high-revving powerhouse—capable of exceeding 8,000 rpm—mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with an optional raised shifter and exposed mechanism.

Singer founder Rob Dickinson describes the car as a modern tribute to a forgotten gem of Porsche’s past. “We’re paying homage to the Super Sport models of the ’80s while using everything we’ve learned in the last fifteen years to create a new expression of the naturally aspirated 911,” he said.

Restorations begin with a meticulous teardown of the original 964 chassis. The monocoque undergoes reinforcement developed in partnership with Red Bull’s elite engineering division to boost rigidity, benefitting both handling and overall performance.

The carbon-fiber bodywork takes cues from the G-model’s iconic shape but is optimized for aerodynamics and weight savings. Singer gives buyers a choice between a fixed rear wing or a speed-sensitive version, along with features such as pop-up driving lights and tailored front/rear bodywork options stored in a custom flight case.

Suspension and braking systems are equally advanced. Electronically controlled four-way adjustable dampers, carbon-ceramic brakes, and 18-inch center-lock wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires ensure race-inspired dynamics with road-worthy comfort. Drivers can tailor their experience with five distinct drive modes—Road, Sport, Track, Off, and Weather.

The cabin remains loyal to the analog spirit of the 911 while offering exquisite personalization. Hand-built gauges, rich leatherwork, and track-spec seating are complemented by discreet modern conveniences like navigation, air-conditioning, and CarPlay connectivity.

Two unique builds illustrate the spectrum of customization:

One emphasizes touring comfort with a Celeste Passalacqua exterior, Mars Pink interior, and velvet-corduroy sports seats.

The other, designed for track use, features a Giallo Segnale paint finish, fixed rear wing, black interior with Interferenza cloth, and a lightweight chassis brace.

Singer’s latest creation also underwent extensive testing at premier facilities including Millbrook (UK), IDIADA (Spain), Nardò (Italy), and the Nürburgring, where TÜV certification was conducted.

Each restoration is guided by the owner’s vision, making every car a one-of-a-kind expression. Prices vary depending on specifications, and with only 100 builds available, exclusivity is assured.
