Camden, NJ — September 24, 2025 — Subaru of America has announced pricing and key updates for the 2026 Subaru BRZ, headlined by the debut of a striking new limited-edition Series.Yellow model. With a starting MSRP of $35,860, the BRZ enters the new model year maintaining the value-focused pricing of its predecessor while delivering upgraded design, safety, and performance.
The 2026 lineup features three trims: the BRZ Limited, BRZ tS, and the newly launched Series.Yellow, a collector’s edition limited to just 350 units. Subaru has discontinued the entry-level Premium trim, citing minimal customer demand.
“Our streamlined BRZ lineup reflects our buyers’ preferences,” said Bill Stokes, Car Line Planning Manager at Subaru of America. “With over 90% of BRZ customers opting for the Limited or tS, we’ve focused on delivering performance, safety, and high-value features where it counts.”
Performance Remains a Core Focus
All 2026 BRZ models are powered by a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter SUBARU BOXER® engine producing 228 horsepower, mated exclusively to the rear wheels for a pure, driver-focused experience. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard across all variants, with an optional 6-speed automatic available only on the Limited trim for an additional $850.
The BRZ continues to feature a TORSEN® limited-slip differential, sport-tuned suspension, and the driver-selectable “Sport” mode, introduced last year for sharper throttle response and agility. Subaru also notes improvements to the electronic power steering system for more precise control.
Introducing: 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow
The all-new Series.Yellow brings exclusive styling cues and high-performance upgrades drawn from the tS trim. Finished in Sunrise Yellow, a vivid color familiar to Subaru enthusiasts, the model features matte black 18-inch alloy wheels, black exterior badging, and special yellow interior accents.
Based on the tS chassis, Series.Yellow includes STI-tuned Hitachi® dampers, Michelin® Pilot® Sport 4 tires, and the Brembo® performance braking system with gold-painted calipers. Inside, the cabin is outfitted with Ultrasuede® upholstery, yellow contrast stitching, and bespoke interior trims.
Starting at $39,360 MSRP, the Series.Yellow is manual-only and built in extremely limited quantities, reinforcing its status as a future collector’s model.
