Subaru Unveils Limited-Edition 2026 WRX and BRZ Series.Yellow Models at Boxerfest 2025

YORK, PA — September 11, 2025 — Subaru has officially pulled the covers off two eye-catching special editions: the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow and the 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow. Both performance vehicles will make their public debut at Boxerfest 2025 in York, Pennsylvania on September 14, with production capped at just 350 units per model, making them among the rarest Subarus ever offered in North America.

Bold Design Meets Limited Production

Painted in a striking Sunrise Yellow, a color previously seen on exclusive Subaru models in Japan and the U.S., the Series.Yellow editions are instantly recognizable. The limited-run models ride on matte black alloy wheels and come exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission, reinforcing Subaru’s commitment to driving purists.

Inside, both cars feature high-contrast yellow stitching across the cabin, adding flair to the instrument panels, door inserts, and sport seats.

WRX Series.Yellow: AWD Power and Control

Under the hood of the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow sits a 271-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER® engine, sending power to all four wheels via Subaru’s legendary Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. The suspension is tuned by Subaru Tecnica International (STI) and features electronically controlled adjustable dampers, while Brembo® brakes and 19-inch matte black wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires enhance cornering and braking performance.

Tech-wise, the WRX includes an 11.6-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, complemented by Recaro® Performance Design front seats stitched in yellow.

BRZ Series.Yellow: Rear-Wheel Drive Precision

The 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow takes a different approach with a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter BOXER® engine producing 228 horsepower, exclusively driving the rear wheels through a close-ratio 6-speed manual. STI-tuned Hitachi® front and rear dampers provide refined handling, supported by 18-inch matte black wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot® Sport 4 tires.

The interior continues the yellow-accent theme, with detailed stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and gear shifter, combining sportiness with a touch of exclusivity.

Availability and Pricing

Pricing for both the WRX and BRZ Series.Yellow models will be revealed closer to their respective release dates. With only 350 units of each car set for production, demand is expected to be high among collectors and enthusiasts alike.
